The pearls are characterized for its high luster, round shape, and smooth surface. Akoya pearls come in a range of colors white, cream, rose and silver. The high luster refers to reflective quality of the surface. Giving the pearls a brilliant and shiny appearance.
Ole Lynggaards Akoya pearls are primarily cultivated in saltwater environments in Japan. Japan is historically renowned for producing some of the finest Akoya pearls. Their pearls are of highest quality. The pearls are grade AAA, excellent luster, perfectly rounded, white with silver undertone and clean surface.
Care and Maintenance: To preserve the luster and beauty of Akoya pearls, avoid exposing them to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or excessive heat. Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth after wearing to remove any oils or residues. Store in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box to prevent scratches and direct sunlight. This will maintain their luster over time.
